Lakeview High School
Class of 1968

We are looking for volunteers to plan a Golf scramble on Saturday morning. Please contact Angel if you can volunteer:

Back in 1980, I received a phone call on a Sunday morning from my friend and former college roommate, who said that he was sorry that we had not made it to his wedding the day before. My reply was that we did not know that there had been a wedding because we had never received an invitation.

Almost 30 years ago, I was awakened on a Sunday morning by a phone call from my sister, who is married to our classmate Ron Jimison. She started telling me about what a great time she had at my Lakeview 20th reunion. My reply was that I did not know that there had been a reunion; I had never been contacted. I would have very much enjoyed seeing many of you back then.

My point is that if you desire to make contact with and possibly see someone from our class, do not wait until October 7 to say something. There is an old saying about being a day late.

This site is excellent for making contact. By the way, I have noticed that the vast majority of photos have been posted by men. Either you ladies are being bashful or we guys have too much time on our hands.

Class Reunion

Saturday October 6th, 2018 at the Saint Clair Shores Bruce Post on Jefferson just North of 11 mile.

Welcome to the Lakeview High School Class of 1968 Website!

We are preparing for our 50th Class Reunion, an opportunity to reconnect and share memories with each other. Let’s remember our happy carefree days at LHS and all that made our school and friendships unique: our great High School Band, The Huskettes, Senior Camp, The Beenie Club, and the list goes on. Fifty years ago we went our separate ways; we’ve lived, grown, and changed. It’s time to reconnect with friends we made and memories we shared. Time goes by so quickly. Let’s make this reunion a memorable occasion, one of our best times, and carry those memories for the rest of our days.

We hope to see you on October 6th, 2018!

Instructions for First Time Visitors

Please click on "First Time Visitors" in the left hand column.  You'll find important information here that will maximize your experience using our site.

On this page you will find the following:

  1. The purpose of this website
  2. Privacy Notice
  3. Setting up your profile
  4. Missing Classmates
  5. Communicating with Classmates
  6. Adding pictures
  7. Names of Site Pages

This site was created to connect and re-connect with our classmates (even those who will not be attending the reunion). Our next goal is to make this site a scrapbook of memories for all classmates and their families. Our site is private!

In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other Classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address (that's a .net, not a .com).

What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our Classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address

Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address when sending out email messages. Be assured that all emails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email. Whitelisting is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving your emails from your fellow Classmates.

Stop and take a moment to whitelist right now, and ensure you stay connected!
